ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I choose images with an undercurrent of pain - outside of judgement good or bad- as archetypal themes of the human experience.
It is our solitary private world of feeling and energy I seek to paint. Our lives are spent in our thoughts and raw emotions run parallel. These complex emotions transcend words. Painted figures are alone in colour, an animated emptiness we remember.
